This nail technology course online is a theory-only programme, written and delivered by the tutors behind our in-person beauty qualifications. Can I get treatment insurance with just this theory certificate?
Not for treatments on paying clients. UK insurers require evidence of practical competency — assessed hands-on — before providing treatment liability cover. The theory certificate is useful for your CPD record and your wider knowledge base, but you will need to complete the practical VTCT Level 3 Diploma (or an equivalent) before you can apply for full treatment insurance.
Do I need any previous experience or qualifications to enrol?
